We welcome you to call Ponies for Parties 24 hours a day with questions you may have. Here are answers to a few of the most frequently asked questions.
Q |
What is the cost?
A |
Our rate is calculated per pony, per hour plus a travel charge, which we will gladly quote over the phone. The travel charge varies depending on the town in which your party is held. Please see our Travel Fee Map for more information. |
Q |
Is there a minimum time requirement?
A |
One pony for one hour is our minimum, which is a popular and affordable option for many private parties. |
Q |
How many rides are given per hour?
A |
Approximately 30 rides per pony |
Q |
Can ponies be used as a fund raiser?
A |
Although our ponies are frequently engaged at benefits, it is not a realistic expectation to make a profit by charging for rides. However, many event planners view ponies as a big draw. The more you publicize that the ponies will be at your event, the more people you can expect to come and support your efforts. |
Q |
How far in advance should I schedule?
A |
The earlier you schedule, the more certain you can be of securing the time of day you prefer. The summer months are particularly busy. Some clients even book our parties a year in advance. |
Q |
What happens if it rains?
A |
Should you choose to cancel for any reason, there will be no charge. Most folks, however, don’t let a little inclement weather bother them. Besides all of our ponies have raincoats! |
